Notre Dame Cathedral, officially known as the Basilica of Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception, is located at the Paris Commune Square, District 1, Ho Chi Minh City.

Notre Dame Cathedral was built according to the project of architect J. Bourard in 1877 and completed after 3 years of construction. The architecture of the church is imbued with ancient French architecture with a spacious and airy space from the inside of the Cathedral to the outside.

Notre Dame Cathedral has a modified Roman architectural style mixed with Gothic, with characteristic round arches. On the facade of the building, there is a round door and a clock like a window, but inside is a massive movement weighing more than 1 ton.

When visiting Notre Dame Cathedral, visitors will be impressed by the two bell tower architectural blocks soaring right in front of the work. When it was first built, the bell tower had no roof and was only 36.6m high. Later, after being repaired, the bell tower was renovated and built with a spire (1895) and became the bell tower of the tallest church in Vietnam (57.6m).

The center of the campus in front of the cathedral is the area where young people are very enthusiastic to check-in. With a beautiful space and unique architecture, this is definitely a place you must take photos when visiting Notre Dame.
